I feel like it’s platter season - however with Covid-19 around we haven’t been getting out and about nor have we been having as many guests as normal.

I was really hoping that we were going to be able to get the opportunity to catch up with people that we hadn’t seen, but it’s not really panning out that way.

Here is a platter from New Years Eve - when some other friend’s plans got cancelled which meant that they were able to pop in and see us (as they were a family of four).

I actually always made savoury French toast until I met my husband. To me, French toast was eaten with tomato sauce and we never added sugar.

Now my kids think the only way to eat French toast is sweet - topped with Nutella 😋
