Guest Posts: Are you interested?

July 12, 2014 by Shari

As most of you will know, I am pregnant with number two. I’m due in October and I like to take a brake from blogging when I am in hospital with baby/when I bring baby home for the first few weeks. As the count down to baby number two’s birth grows closer I realise that I have to throw out the opportunity for guest bloggers whilst I have some down time (as I don’t really like the idea of the blog going into ‘radio silence’).

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far.

It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!

GoodFoodWeek now covers four main topics:

  • RECIPES
  • GARDENING
  • MOTHERHOOD
  • LIFE
If you’d like to write a guest post for me covering off one of my main topics then shoot me an email with your idea (or your piece of work). Please note that I often like to publish an image or two with the work, but if you can’t provide an image I will run the ‘GoodFoodWeek’ standard image.
I am afraid that I am unable to provide you with payment for you work (as I am yet to be paid anything or make any money from this blog myself), but I am willing for you to use this ‘guest blogging’ piece as a platform to give your own blog or product a shout out (with up to 5 links excepted).
Please note, just because you provide me with a piece of work is no guarntee that it will be published. I need to feel that it is inline with my blog and something that my readers would find of interest – because, let’s face it…I want to come back to the same readership not less when I return to blogging.
So if this interests you – get in touch… my email is Shari.Wakefield (AT) gmail.com
