Each day she found five new blogs, then the next day she went back to those five blogs to see if they had posted anything new and chose five new blogs to check out. She repeated this process every day for a month and built some really awesome relationships in doing so.
My top five blogs from my month of review would have to be:
- Briar Stanley at the Sunday Collector. One of my favourite posts from Briar was about ‘Helping Another Mum Out‘ #onemothertoanother. I loved the thought that there is always room for more kindness towards one another {particularly from one mother to another}. I purchased some toiletries and posted them up to Sydney – although I was a little late {and they didn’t make it in time for Mother’s Day as I had intended}, I’m sure that the person who received them didn’t mind that it wasn’t in time for Mother’s Day.
- I also loved finding Emily from Em Hawker Blog. My favourite post from her during the month of May was in fact her ‘Top web reads of May‘ {because it introduced me to more new bloggers – well new to me anyway}.
- I’ve read Amy from Handbag Mafia before, but I was reengaging with her during this exercise and I loved it! Gosh, I don’t even know if I can narrow it down to one post being my favourite from this blog. I really enjoyed everything that was published during the month of May. And I think that is the sign of a really awesome blog – superior content every time!
- Jamielyn blogs over at I heart nap time {and seriously, who doesn’t love nap time – mummy’s love when their children nap and even if you don’t have children I am sure that a Sunday catnap in a sunny spot never goes astray}. Even though she is blogging in the opposite season, I enjoyed her ‘5 tips for outdoor entertaining with little fuss’. I think when summer roles around I am totally making smores.
- And I finish off with Robyna from Mummy and the Minx – I really enjoyed her post on Sex, Motherhood and the City {even though it was published on the 3rd of June – and technically was after my May round up}. I really loved SATC and this is a really witty transcript of what they would be talking about if the show was still running.
