Recipe: Monday meal ideas – four recipes using tahini

As I put my shopping list together this morning, I realised that I was running low on Mayver’s Tahini. I popped it down onto the list and then I thought that it might make a good prompt for my meal inspiration post this week. Do you enjoy creating Middle Eastern inspired dishes at home?

Monday is my maintenance day. Have you checked out BabyMac’s Maintenance Monday hashtag? I’m guessing most Mum’s around the country are carrying out similar tasks on Monday.

After the business of the weekend, it’s time to; change bed linen, vacuum and mop floors, give the kitchen a general once over, complete my ‘others’ grocery shop {you know, all the things that can’t be purchased at the local markets}, and possibly pick up a sneaky Monday coffee.
I love that I have the opportunity to hit up cafes at are normally jam-packed during the weekend, but have a little give during the week {enough give to maneuver my double pram}.
Anyways, I love the taste of sesame seeds and think that tahini and chicken are an awesome match, but it also pairs well with lamb. Here are two great recipes mixing chicken with tahini and two great recipes mixing lamb with tahini. I hope you enjoy them!

The first mangoes of the season have landed! And my boys are EXCITED! Mangoes, strawberries and finger bun to tie them over from second breakfast to lunch (Term 4 can’t come quick enough).
