I can’t believe that you are now older then the age that Mr Moo was on the day that you were born. You have grown up so much in the last 6 months and yet I still see you as my baby {because you really are just that}.
You aren’t the biggest talker, in fact we call you our caveman as you are more of a ‘point and grunt’ kinda guy. You get your point across never-the-less. You say ‘Mum’ and ‘Dad’ and ‘Nan’, you also say ‘Yes’ and ‘Ta’ and shake your head for ‘No’.
I spent a lot of time trying to get you to use some of Mr Moo’s first words like; ‘water’, ‘more’ and ‘down’ – but you haven’t seemed to have picked any of them up. You have mastered the word ‘stop’ and then hand action – I think that I must use this on an hourly basis when you are in action.
You love dinosaurs – maybe even more then your big brother, and you often walk around ‘roaring’. But I think your favourite animal is the duck, as it is the only animal that you want on ‘Old MacDonald’s’ farm.
You love being outside. You are very independent and quiet the dare devil. You race down the garden path on the three-wheeler like it is no-one’s business. I’m often calling out to you to slow down and to watch where you are going – but taking a tumble doesn’t seem to both you, you jump right back up and are on your way.
You have amazing balance and are really good at kicking balls. You have way more interest in chasing a ball around the backyard then your brother, and I can’t wait until you can kick it to one another.
It took you so long to become an eater and now you can’t be stopped! I think your favourite foods would have to be banana, yoghurt and blueberries – but you actually don’t turn your nose up at any of the family meals that we share.
You love a babycino and I think that Mr Moo is a little upset that you actually are at a point where you also finish the babycino – he was on a good thing for a while, when he got to finish your babycino off.
You always want to be picked up so that you can see what I am doing when I am working in the kitchen. It’s not always easy to give you a job to work on whilst I am cooking, but I try to let you participate as often as I can. You are a big fan of peeling potatoes and mixing anything.
You love listening to music and you love dancing. I think you could be musical. You have mastered the actions to ‘Incy, wincy spider’ and ‘twinkle, twinkle’.
You love going to ‘Paint and Play’ in the park. I think your favourite stations are the painting station and the bubble station – although I am always letting you not to put the bubble wands in your mouth. You also love that you get to have a babycino at the end of it all. It helps that Edgar’s Inn make a pretty mean babycino that comes with two chocolate buttons.
You also love attending ‘Gymbaroo’. You spent the last year watching your brother and so as soon as we let you down on the equipment, you were away. You will try and keep up with everything that the older children are doing and you love parachute time { I think it just might be everyone’s favourite time}.
I can’t wait to see what the next 6 months have in store for us, as you continue to grow and change and develop your own little personality.

Thanks Lisa. I love looking back on the past 6 months and how much they have changed. I love reading other blogger’s reflections on their little ones {I’m just not organised enough to get a post up every month}.
