Welcome back for another one of ‘Friday’s thought provoking quotes’. Today’s quote comes from #CreativeMomista – April describes herself as a multi-passionate dreamer of two boys, a Texas country girl and personal branding addict. She is obsessed with creativity + individuality + authentic conversations + horses + fuzzy socks + peppermint anything + coffee + the colour red {you can find out more about her here}.

What a great quote! It is so totally true though. Much better to have a smaller tighter tribe that is there for you whenever you need the support. Than to have a huge tribe that is not there for you ever. xoxo

What a brilliant quote! I don’t have nearly as many friends in my forties in Australia as I did when I lived in London in my thirties, but I’m working on the premise of quality not quantity!

Definitely work on quality not quantity – I love being able to put my time into real and dependable friendships.

Oh that is a great quote! I’ve never heard the pennies vs quarter comparison before!

It is the first time that I had heard that quote and I really liked it too, Mica. You definitely also get a lot back from focusing your attention on your friendships that are worth more. I’m not saying don’t make new friendships, but all those little friendships that are more just ‘people you know’ can be culled to simplify your life.
