Competition: Little Europe Giveaway

September 1, 2016 by Shari

When a person is pregnant, it seems that everyone likes to gravitate towards the girls section to ‘oh and ah’ over how cute everything is. But you know what, there is some seriously gorgeous boy’s clothing out there – and after having two little boys, I naturally gravitate towards the boys section. I am slightly addicted to looking at gorgeous boys clothing on Instagram and when the lovely Lauren from Little Europe Boutique said that she would be interested in collaborating with me for an awesome little competition before baby number three arrived, I was totally chuffed.

GoodFoodWeek's Little Europe Boutique giveaway

With a love for oh-so-cute looks and unique styles, combined with their passion for ethically made and sourced clothes, Little Europe Boutique was born to bring you an experience in fashion that truly is unique.  They are an Australian based online store specialising in gorgeous clothes and fabulous styles ethically made from the heart of Europe, for your little prince and princess, and there are other stores online as The Fifth Collection that sell the best accessories and clothing for adults as well.

Lauren sent me out the beautiful green denim shorts and green and white striped top for me to test run the clothing with my boys. The outfit was uber cute but more importantly perfect for their rough and tumble lifestyle and washed extremely well – which I feel is so important as it is so disappointing when you fall in love with an item of clothing and it is never the same after you wash it.

Lauren informed me that ‘the designers we work with have been carefully selected for their ethos, quality and sustainability; and we are delighted to be bringing you the very best from the Netherlands’.

‘With a large range of certified organic cotton clothes, made free from child labour, there is something that every earth-friendly mummy will love. Take a peek at our gorgeous range for your baby, prince and princess. Ethical is the new cool!’ said Lauren.

Today, we have not one but five awesome prizes for you to win. And you don’t just have to have a baby to enter – Lauren, has generously put together outfits that would fit a 2 year old and a 3-4 year old boy {which just happens to be the age of my very own boys}.

How gorgeous are all the collections?! I’m sold on the fact the clothes are both from an Australian company and from fabrics ethically sourced.
My favourite outfit is Trendsetting Little Prince, appropriate in the namesake and the personality for one special young man!

GIVEAWAY 4: TRENDSETTING LITTLE PRINCE! As soon as I saw Star wars, I was smitten. My boy thinks he’s going to be a jedi when he grows up, so this set would be perfect for him.

I think there are a lot of little boys who wish that they could grow up to be Jedi Knights out there {and a few husbands too}.

That trendsetting little prince outfit is a winner! I can just imagine how stylish it would look on, and quite frankly, it’s hard to find stylish looking little boy clothes. Honestly though, I suspect if she could squeeze her way into them, my daughter would wear that set with gusto too. Hurrah for clothes that can suit either gender!

      September 12, 2016 at 1:42 pm

I love a little bit of neutral gender clothing. I actually try and keep all my newborn clothing neutral in case either sex is born {although, after having two little boys, I have also gained a lot of BLUE}.

From what I have just read about Little Europe Boutique their values are truly amazing, both in caring for people and the environment. That we should all support. The decision about which pack would we adore the most is a tricky one – they’re all so useful and trendy but here’s a few clues about our favourite…

    Clue 1
It contains an item with sleeves that are short. For an active little man, a tee is such a practical clothing choice.

    Clue 2
It would keep a torso and arms toasty and warm. Being a jacket it’s easy to put on and take off (Yay to no longer squeezing a largish head through a tiny jumper hole just hoping it doesn’t get stuck when it’s taken on and off!).

    Did you guess it?

    GIVEAWAY 5: WONDERFUL WINTER STYLES!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such an interesting comment Kirsty! I definitely know what you’re talking about when trying to get a jumper over a head and it just won’t go.

Oh those outfits are so gorgeous! When I had my son I had a tough time finding really lovely boys clothes, the girls sections were always so much bigger and nicer! These are gorgeous although my boy is too big for all of those sizes now *insert sad face*.

    • Shari from GoodFoodWeek says

      September 5, 2016 at 4:13 pm

I completely understand about the girl’s section being bigger. Sad that I don’t have a prize to fit your boys – but I have some awesome giveaways coming up that I think you might be interested in xo

I was just thinking about this this morning. I was dressing my little girl for playgroup and she looked hip and happening. Then I went to dress my little guy and he ended up in a daggy pair of trackies and random jersey. And they ended up equally dirty!
I’m putting my hand up for Giveaway 5- that little hoodie is too cute and love that blue in the tshirt!

    • Shari from GoodFoodWeek says

      September 1, 2016 at 6:49 pm

Girls seem to have so much more choice – but you can definitely hunt down some gorgeous stuff for boys {especially when you find stockists like Little Europe Boutique}.

The Playsuit pack would be lovely for my eldest daughter’s teacher, who is currently pregnant with her first baby. As she doesn’t know the sex of the baby, I think this is the most gender-neutral outfit to select, as the lemon hues are suitable for either a boy or girl. This teacher is a lovely lady who taught my daughter in her first year of school, Grade Prep, and is now teaching her for her final year, Grade 6.

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far. It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), had babies, gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!
