Welcome to another Ultimate Rabbit Hole. I’m doing a little Easter prep at the moment – ordering some things online, in an effort to reduce the amount of chocolate that my children receive at Easter time {because let’s face it, they don’t need that much}. I’d love to share with you, this week, some awesome links to Easter gift alternatives for young children.
With three young boys {the youngest whom can’t even eat chocolate yet}, I am always on the look out for Easter gift alternatives for young children. One of my most favourite finds this year is this amazing chocolate scented and hot cross bun scented playdough from Happy Hands, Happy Heart.
Happy Hands Happy Hearts (HHHH) playdough is super unique in that it is 100% naturally scented and coloured using only fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and essential oil– nothing artificial! Each of their flavours has been carefully thought out to provide your little ones with more than just a fun activity; they are all handcrafted to provide lots of health and wellbeing benefits too!
We also are big fans of Top Knot Girl – I wear them and I also have bought a few for my nieces. So when I saw that she had released a Bunny BowKnot Headband, I was quick to snap two up for my nieces for Easter. I am still also contemplating purchasing the blue cornflour 2017 Easter bonnet – I mean ‘HOW CUTE!’. {If you’re not much of a sewer, this might just be your ticket to major cute points for the Easter Hat Parade}.
I couldn’t pass up a sticker book – the boys love to sit down to these ‘first sticker books’ from Usborne when we get a little one on one time. When I saw the Easter Usborne First Sticker Book on Booktopia, I popped it in my cart.
The boys are bound to be in the kitchen with me whilst we do some Easter prep – so I thought that I would pick up a set of these Easter cookie cutters {found at Coles}. If you’re into a little Easter baking, here are 40 Easter baking recipes that you might like to attempt. {I also thought that the cookie cutters would be good for the playdough.
I also think that a cute bib or teether for little ones could be an awesome gift. The teether pictured from Arlo & I might not be ‘Easter’ themed but I think that the shape kinda looks like bunny ears. And I don’t think you can go passed an Easter bunny for a baby’s first Easter – this one is from Kate Finn and makes a squeeking noise when you squeeze it.
Do you have any other Easter gift alternatives for young children?
Grab a cuppa and prepare to pop down the rabbit hole – oh and don’t forget to leave a comment below.
Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post {if you are not of the link list kind} for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read.
Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say hello to some of the other lovely linkers. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Sammie from The Annoyed Thyroid, Jess from Confident Life or Paula from The Geeky Shopaholic. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on both blogs, as if by magic! The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday. Alice is about to blow her mind! Grab a cuppa and attend this mad tea party. Add your “Link List” post or just your favourite post from this week…
