Life: The Ultimate Rabbit Hole – parenthood and those who blog about it…

April 8, 2017 by Shari

If I felt like I was under pressure last week, I feel as though I am in a serious vice now. We powered through a birthday party and we are preparing for Easter and a baptism. Maybe once we have made it past those events, I will have a little breathing room. Or maybe this is just life with three small children and two business? It’s like that song, ‘one finger, one thumb, keep moving’…but I’ve got to the last part where it’s a blur of actions and it’s meant to be fun/funny, but I am about to fall in a heap.

Is this just a phase of parenthood? I’m guessing if you read my blog, then you probably read other blogs too. I wonder if you follow many of the other bloggers who collaborate over at the Parent Talk Australia facebook page? I thought that I would share some of their blog posts this week.

The Gro Company have launched their new Australian website and to mark the occasion and Six Little Hearts have a stunning hamper worth $500 up for grabs to celebrate.

Check out these fantastic free printables and easy craft ideas from the Gift Grapevine to keep the kids busy this Easter.

Musings from the Misguided had a lot of people nodding over her piece on how ADHD is not just bad behaviour – From a mum who has been there: I swear if I read one more meme about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) being a made up condition, I will scream. If I see one more post about kids with ADHD just needing a ‘kick up the arse’, I will explode.

Looking for Easter fun in Sydney. Kid Size Living’s got you covered with all the cool Easter-themed fun.

Looking for a few more blogs on parenthood? Why not have a look at:

Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post {if you are not of the link list kind} for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read.

Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say hello to some of  the other lovely linkers. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Sammie from The Annoyed Thyroid, Jess from Confident Life or Paula from  The Geeky Shopaholic. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on both blogs, as if by magic!  The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday. Alice is about to blow her mind! Grab a cuppa and attend this mad tea party. Add your “Link List” post or just your favourite post from this week…

Shari from GoodFoodWeek

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far. It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), had babies, gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!
