Good morning readers, how are you on this brisk Saturday morning? Welcome to another Ultimate Rabbit Hole link up. Today, I am interested in understanding who you are, why you pop in to read the URH, and what you get out of this blog post. I love hosting the URH because I think that a rising tide lifts all boats…
The aphorism ‘a rising tide lifts all boats’ is associated with the idea that traffic, knowledge, community spirit, commenting in the general blogging community will benefit all participants in that link up. But it really only works if all members of the link up are prepared to give each other a little love and no just ‘drop and run’.
I love popping around and reading the majority of blog posts that are linked up each week. Sure, I might not be able to comment on every blog post every week, but as hosts – Sammie, Jess, Paula and I – are doing our best to at least leave one comment on each blog post from a host.
So if you normally link up on another hosts’ page, I’d like to introduce myself to you and welcome you to GoodFoodWeek. I’m Shari and I’ve been the creative director and social media manager behind the food/lifestyle blog GoodFoodWeek for 8 years.
I’m a stay-at-home Mum of three little boys, who has left the corporate communications world to raise a family. I’m passionate about creating quick and easy, healthy meals for my family and eating seasonal produce. You’ll find lots of delicious one-pot-wonders and stories of motherhood here on this blog.
Some of my most popular posts include;
- RECIPE: CARROT CAKE BLISS BALLS {NUT FREE}
- MOTHERHOOD: GLAMOROUS BIRTH PHOTOS
- LIFE: IN MY KITCHEN {this isn’t my most popular IMK post, but the series is definitely very popular and this is my most recent addition}
And if you normally link up here, then I invite you to pop on over and meet the other hosts – because they are equally as lovely.
Sammie from The Annoyed Thyroid is obsessed with baking, running and Disney. If you are looking for a delicious sweet treat recipe or an inspiration post about another beautiful female then you should definitely check out her blog. Sammie writes a ‘she’s so inspiring post’ but I think that she is pretty inspiring for surviving thyroid cancer – TWICE!
And some of my favourite posts from Sammie include;
- MEATLESS MONDAY – HEARTY AND RUSTIC ITALIAN LENTIL SOUP
- 7 PLACES TO EAT AND DRINK IN HOBART
- SHE’S SO INSPIRING – KATE MORELL
Jess from Confident Life is a Clinical Psychologist currently working in Perth, Australia. Confident Life is a place where people can come to feel empowered, receive knowledge and support regarding relationships, self esteem, strengths, careers, values, and mental health issues, and feel a sense of community and realise that they are not alone. Institutions like the Riverside Clinic Melbourne also provide a safe haven for recovery, both physically and mentally.
And some of my favourite posts from Jess include;
- 5 MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT SELF CARE FOR MOTHERS
- 5 MYTHS ABOUT POSITIVE PEOPLE
- GUEST POST: A MOTHER’S TRUCE TO HER BODY
Paula is a geeky writer who loves to blog, read, shop, travel, and obsess about SuperWhoLock. The Geeky Shopaholic is a lifestyle blog and resource for hobby bloggers that encourages blogging for fun.
And some of my favourite posts from Paula include;
Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post {if you are not of the link list kind} for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read.
Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say hello to some of the other lovely linkers. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Sammie from The Annoyed Thyroid, Jess from Confident Life or Paula from The Geeky Shopaholic. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on both blogs, as if by magic! The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday. Alice is about to blow her mind! Grab a cuppa and attend this mad tea party. Add your “Link List” post or just your favourite post from this week…
Finally, does your website need work? Choosing the hands down the best web designer in the market could be the most important decision you make for your company.
