‘My favourite foodie Christmas tradition is enjoying my Grandmother’s Christmas cake. Every year for as long as I can remember, she would bake three Christmas cakes using her own secret recipe. She passed away late last year, so we resorted to shop-bought Christmas cake. Last week, however, I discovered her collection of handwritten recipes, including her much-loved Christmas cake recipe and detailed hints for perfecting it! This year I plan to continue the tradition by cooking them myself – fingers crossed I do them justice! :D’
