Life: Friday’s thought provoking quote

August 19, 2016 by Shari

It’s time for another ‘thought provoking quote’ and once again, I find the quotes that Katie180 posts to her instagram account really speaking to me. If you’d like to find out a little more about Coach Kristi Kay, you can check out her facebook page here.

It is so easy to get ‘stuck’ on something. It is harder to forgive and sometimes it is important to also think about forgiving ourselves in being able to move on.

I’ve actually had a run of ‘bad weeks’ health wise – a week of laryngitis, followed by a week of a terrible sinus infection  {unable to actually take anything because of the pregnancy} – which I am putting down to a weakened immune system from pregnancy and TOO MUCH STRESS. I think I need to lighten my load – especially my mental load at the moment. Which means that I am removing the stress of things that I have no say over.

I can not control the way others think and I will never be able to. I am coming to the realisation that I probably will never actually understand their thinking either – so I am just letting it all go.

Am loving your new quote section. I have a folder in my photos on my phone so when I feel down or need some inspiration I can look at a few. Always good to add some new ones too. Hope all the sickness for you is gone now! 🙂

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far. It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), had babies, gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!
