Giveaway: Tommee Tippee for Toddlers

August 14, 2014 by Shari Leave a Comment

Mr Moo loves to eat – which is awesome, because I know that there are some toddlers out there who don’t let much passed their lips. This means that my nappy bag is often full of snacks and a water bottle – and Ive tried a range of ‘plastic fantastics’, but I am pretty parcial to the Tommee Tippee range.
So when Tommee Tippee came to me and asked if I would like to run a ‘toddler’ giveaway I jumped at the chance to show my readers their awesome range.

In speaking to my MACH nurse, I found out that the recommendations for dairy intake has dramatically decreased for toddlers. They no longer need 3 serves of diary each day and they don’t need to drink as much milk as previously thought.

I loves that Mr Moo loves to drink water – it’s easy and stress free – especially when he is drinking it out of his Tommee Tippee flip top straw cup. I place the cup on a surface that he can easily come to throughout the day and collect a drink when he needs to on his own accord.

He loves being able to control it himself, we never have any spills and he will drink approximately 3 full cups a day.

Another item I love from Tommee Tippee is the cutlery case with two spoons. From four months, Mr Moo was enjoying solids. This meant that I always needed a spoon in my nappy bag – but all too often they end up floating around in their and it makes you question whether they are ‘clean’ enough to use?

The great thing about the cultery case is that they are kept sanitary until you need them. There are two spoons inside – so you can use one to feed and your little one can hold one, if they are that way inclined (or you have a second spoon if it accidently falls on the floor).

And then you have a container to place the spoons in after they have been used – hence not getting baby food reminents all over your nappies, wipes, spare clothes, bibs, toys etc.

So it is with pleasure that I am able to giveaway the following items from Tommee Tippee: Flip Top Straw Cup, First Cutlery Set and the Cultery Case with Two Spoons.

All you need to do is let me know in 25 words or less in the comments section below what you is your toddler’s favourite food at the moment? Please also leave a contact email so that I can get in contact with the winner to post their toddler ‘feeding’ pack.

This competition is only open to AUSTRALIAN residents and will close on the 31st of August 2014. The winner will be notified the following week of their win and if they do not make contact with me within a fortnight, another winner will be drawn.

Get in my belly… I’ve been reading a lot abou Get in my belly…

I’ve been reading a lot about self love of late. I feel like there is so much self sacrifice when you’re a mother, and yet I am starting to realise that I need to love myself first to be a better mum and partner.

So here is to starting with something small for me. These @byronbaycookies are the business!!

However, I still seem to feel that mum guilt. I mean, I think I need to do a little more than just follow @drsophiebrock (@smallbusinessgrowthclub has so many good things to say about Sophie)… am I doing enough? Are they happy? Am I creating good memories for them? Am I giving them good life skills and coping tactics? Am I creating enough one on one time with each of them?

I know I’m a people pleaser, a perfectionist (and some … scrap that… most people I know say I am also an over achiever). How do I flip my thinking to focus more on the positive and not be so critical of myself? As I don’t want to pass on this trait to my kids.

Boil the rice. Stir fry the beef. Toss some gem lettuce with black sesame seeds and sushi seasoning. Top it all off with kimchi.

Mine was store bought. @staceyclare_healthcoach have you ever made your own kimchi? Have you got a good recipe?

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far. It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), had babies, gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!
