Giveaway: Celebrating Mater’s 10000th baby

February 14, 2015 by Shari

I love Mater Baby products – I was send some samples whilst I was pregnant with Mr Moo and have been hooked ever since. And it is with great joy that I am able to announce that Mater is celebrating is 10 000th baby by offering my readers an awesome Mater giveaway valued at $100. New Mums and old hands alike would be thrilled at winning this pack of amazing baby products!

The 10 000th Mater baby was born on Friday 19th December – the first son of Alicia and Jordan Coates was born at 9.42pm, weighing 3.6kg. Bub is well and mum and dad are thrilled {isn’t all baby news exciting?}.

An average of 28 babies are born each day at Mater Mothers’ Hospital at South Brisbane and Mater Mothers’ Private Redland. That’s a lot of babies so they know what they are doing when it comes to baby skincare needs {not to mention mother’s skin care needs}. You can check here about some CBD products which are good for skin care.
Throughout my pregnancies my skin tended to dry out quickly…and you know what that leads to – stretch marks! Don’t even get me started on how dry my hands would become after baby was born with all the hand washing to stop the spread of germs. My Mater Body Balm for pregnancy was a life saver!
Now some of you would be aware of their great skincare products. But did you know that they are also making nappies?
Not only is Mater’s making these awesome products for Mums like you and me {and for any Dads who are reading – *Shout Out* to any of my Dad followers}, but they are doing some seriously good work with the proceeds.

Mater Mothers’ Hospital provides specialist life-saving care to seriously ill and premature babies. These babies are affectionately known as Mater Little Miracles.

Proceeds from Mater’s product range will help support specialised care for babies with severe or complicated medical conditions. They will also fund important research projects that will help give babies the best possible start to life.

Your purchase of Mater products will help Mater Little Miracles like Shaun, Ruby and Delinda {to learn more read their stories or visit Mater Foundation}.

So let me get to the best part of this post – the giveaway! Mater is giving GoodFoodWeek readers the oportinity to win a Mater Mothers’ maternity and baby care product gift pack (RRP $100) – contents:

· Mater Body Balm for pregnancy 150g
· Mater Baby Wash 500mL
· Mater Baby Moisturiser 500mL
· Mater Nappies – Newborn (3-5kg)
· Mater Little Miracles singlet body suit (100% cotton)

Shari from GoodFoodWeek

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far. It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), had babies, gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!
