In terms of this blog, I am looking to form some positive, long lasting collaborations in 2017, which aim to help women in the transition into motherhood and their continued/ever changing motherhood journey.
Obviously, I’ve been in touch with a few companies around pregnancy/breast feeding teas, milk stimulating cookies and healthy snacking {because my blog is about food and fuelling your body to be at your best}, but I also want to provide mothers with physical and mental strategies to help them feel amazing.
I definitely felt that adding yoga into my life with two under two {my first two are 17 months apart} made me a better Mum. I’ve continued to keep up an exercise routine throughout my pregnancies and am now a couple of days off returning to the gym after my third son was born in October.
Even though I am on the ‘newborn’ road again this year, I am also navigating life with a two year old and life with a preschooler. That’s right, my eldest – Mr Moo is starting preschool and that’s something new for us here at GoodFoodWeek. Mr Moo is an April birthday, so I have already decided that he will do two years of preschool before starting primary school.
It’s been so exciting preparing him for preschool and meeting some awesome Mamas who are producing awesome wears for those who attend preschool. I mean Mums need to support Mums right. We are also juggling our ‘fourth baby’ – our business in Bondi, Mr Perkins.
With a focus on easy, everyday eating we started Mr Perkins to deliver a fresh and filling way to grab a meal on the go. As a collective, we are all about feeling great, and we know that the food we eat plays a large part in that.
Feeling good about our bodies, the food we eat, and our life, are all intertwined. We make each and every soup, salad and pasta with absolute care and attention to detail, using select ingredients, prepared with our home-style touch.
As a busy Mum of three young boys, I know that sometimes Mums forget about fuelling themselves (let alone, fuelling themselves in the right way). I wanted Mr Perkins to be able to provided quick and healthy options for Mums to eat in or takeaway.
Our space is pram and breast-feeding friendly. And don’t worry if you’re unable to get out of the house with a newborn or with little ones, we deliver to the East using UberEATS and Deliveroo.
