Life: The Ultimate Rabbit Hole – Final Easter Prep

April 15, 2017 by Shari

How did we get to it being Easter tomorrow? I feel like this year is flying by at break-neck speed. It sometimes makes me yearn for simple times {then again, I wouldn’t want to give up my instagram for inspiration}. I’ve been spending far too much time searching instagram for my final Easter prep!

Have you finalised your plan for Easter? Still have some final Easter prep to do? I feel like if you get crackin’ you can still get a few last minute things if you’re interested…

This Easter, I am going to create a big, beautiful share platter. I have been drawing inspiration from; The Lebanese Plate, Your Platters Matters, and Plazadeli . You also might be interested in; healthy holiday platters to keep you energised and feeling great, 17 best ideas about antipasto platters on Pinterest or how to create the perfect cheese platter.

This Easter, we want to welcome our guests with a delicious cocktail. I’ve left this task in the hands of my brother – but I have shared these links with him; the best Easter themed cocktails, 20 cocktails perfect for Easter brunch, and 11 cocktails to serve with your Easter meal.

This Easter, I would love to create a beautiful table scene. I have been following the following links; how to make an Easter centrepiece, Easter seasonal scenes and decor, and 10 DYI Easter wreaths.

This Easter, we will fill our bellies with delicious grub. You might like to think about these items to add to your menu; seasonal sides for roast pork, or maybe something from the ultimate Easter Sunday lunch menu, or maybe you’ll draw some inspiration from Martha Stewart’s Easter Brunch Recipes?

And would it be Easter without a few too many chocolate desserts?  Here are the top 10 Easter desserts from Taste.

Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post {if you are not of the link list kind} for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read.

Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say hello to some of  the other lovely linkers. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Sammie from The Annoyed Thyroid, Jess from Confident Life or Paula from  The Geeky Shopaholic. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on both blogs, as if by magic!  The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday. Alice is about to blow her mind! Grab a cuppa and attend this mad tea party. Add your “Link List” post or just your favourite post from this week…

Shari from GoodFoodWeek

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far. It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), had babies, gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!
