Life: The Ultimate Rabbit Hole – I saw it on social media

June 10, 2017 by Shari

Feel like I am finally getting back to my normal self – although, I don’t want to push myself too hard, too soon. I’ve been trying to be happy with the small wins, like; getting a little one on one time with the Little Dude and having a babycino {whilst Mr Moo is at preschool and the Z man sleeps in the pram} – I know we get babycinos often, but we actually sat down in the cafe and it was bliss.

And with feeling more like myself, has come the sensation – maybe the need – to pick up my phone and check on social media. I know that I shouldn’t check it as often as I do. But I am seriously working on reducing my screen time. I have cut a whole heap of TV time at night and switched it up for reading a book { I’m reading Betweeen a Dog and a Wolf for #babymacbookclub}.

For today’s Ultimate Rabbit Hole, I thought that I would share with you a few social media links that caught my eye…

There have been some extraordinary records set by Mums. I wonder what records that I might set?

Now, excuse me but this can’t be serious – ‘Why women should stop wearing bras‘. I wear a Bonds singlet with a built in bra to bed, but I still have to hold the ladies if I need to do a mad dash to a screaming child or a doorbell ringing. There is no way that I would let these 10GG babies roam free!

Were you a big fan of Sex and the City? I most definitely was, and still am {despite the various problematic elements of the show}.

A lot of new bloggers have popped up on the blogging scene, they might be interested in these 6 blogging secrets from Fat Mum Slim.

And I think I might be whipping myself up one of these 5 ingredient spinach and cottage cheese pies, this weekend.

Every Saturday morning, we will open up the rabbit hole link up for bloggers to add their link list posts or even just their favourite post {if you are not of the link list kind} for the week. Please link only one post. This makes it fair for everyone and allows more posts to be read.

Talking of reading, do try and pop along to say hello to some of  the other lovely linkers. This week, you can link up here or bob on over and say hello to Sammie from The Annoyed Thyroid, Jess from Confident Life or Paula from  The Geeky Shopaholic. It doesn’t matter where you add your link because it will appear on both blogs, as if by magic!  The link up will stay open until midnight the following Monday. Alice is about to blow her mind! Grab a cuppa and attend this mad tea party. Add your “Link List” post or just your favourite post from this week…

Shari from GoodFoodWeek

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far. It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), had babies, gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!
