The wonderful Lauren from www.bcw-global.com,hasked me if I would like to review a Sunbeam High Performance Power Blender – RRP$499.00. As smoothie conosuer (my husband and I met working at Boost juice and have a combined 8 years experience making smoothies), I jumped at the chance.

The Sunbeam High Performance Power Blender is the ultimate, versatile kitchen appliance that powers through a range of ingredients for perfectly blended drinks, and more. The blender also kneads, grinds, mills, chops, juices – helping with all food prep tasks.

It powered through bananas and ice and other frozen fruits, but what really impressed me was the consistency of the kale through our green smoothie. This is a sign of a good blender – and it was quick and easy to clean.

Let’s face it people – if an appliance is too hard to use or too hard to clean, it will end up sitting in the back of your cupboard for years to come.

  • 1 frozen mango cheek
  • 1 frozen kiwi

GoodFoodWeek started in 2008 as a way of sharing recipes with uni friends and family who were spread near and far. It has evolved over the years to contain my ramblings as I’ve searched for a house, planned the perfect veggie patch, stumbled through farmer’s markets with my eye half open (because you need to be there at 6am to get the fresh eggs), had babies, gathered family and friends around a shared table, laughed out loud and enjoyed life to the fullest!
